Se necesita algo más

que un poema,

las palabras apropiadas,

justas, en su orden,

ante el mundo,

 en los lugares apropiados,

una y otra vez,

sin ningún resultado

y ver sonreír a la muerte

por los pasillos,

en los grandes salones,

pasearse por las narices

del mundo como si la paz

de los muertos fuera la única

alcanzable.

It takes more than just a poem,

the right words,

just, in their order,

before the world,

in the right places,

over and over again,

with no result

and see death smiling

through the corridors,

in the grand halls,

parading under the noses

of the world as if the peace

of the dead were the only

one achievable.
