Un primer paso/A first step

 

Un primer paso,

siempre es necesario,

como el primer escalón,

de lo contrario

el resto de la escalera

se hace imposible

o surge la duda,

si un primer paso,

es tan necesario 

como seguir avanzando

con la misma decisión,

hasta alcanzar la meta

fijada desde el primer

escalón.

A first step,

is always necessary,

like the first step on a staircase,

otherwise,

the rest of the stairs

become impossible,

or doubt arises,

whether a first step

is as necessary

as continuing forward

with the same determination,

until reaching the goal

set from the very first

step.
