No hay dos orejas iguales
en el mundo de las orejas,
ni tienen comparación,
menos las de Vincent Van Gogh,
que una noche de furia,
sin una explicación,
frente a Paul Gauguin
o en un bar de Francia,
no se sabe bien del todo
como verdaderamente ocurrió,
con una navaja se la arrancó.
De seguro fue la izquierda,
aunque mirándose al espejo,
la derecha fue que en una pintura
se vendó.

Van Gogh cut it off with one stroke.
No two ears are the same
in the world of ears,
nor can they be compared,
especially Vincent van Gogh’s.
One night in a rage,
without explanation,

how it truly happened.
With a razor, he severed it.
It was certainly the left ear,
although, looking in the mirror,
