No puedes arreglar el mundo,
hay barcos a la deriva sin puerto,
navegan y navegan casi si razón,
sin rumbo en sombrías aguas,
esperan la caída del sol,
sin saber cuando y adonde,
la mar les lleva en silencio,
tiene sus propios términos,
suavemente mece sus cunas,
solo la locura sabe adonde van
con sus ejércitos locos.

there are ships adrift with no port,
they sail and sail almost without reason,
aimless in shadowed waters,
they await the fall of the sun,
not knowing when or where,
the sea carries them in silence,
it has its own terms,
gently rocking their cradles,
only madness knows where they go
with their crazy armies.
