Viajero de la palabra/Traveler of the word

El poeta, principalmente,

es un viajero de la palabra,

camina, da pasos, por la tierra,

que el mar rodea,

su casa es la poesía,

quizás su memoria

sea su mayor patrimonio,

sueña como sus ancestros,

con otros mundos,

pero no deja de tener,

los pies en la tierra.

The poet, primarily,

is a traveler of words,

walking, taking steps, across the land,

surrounded by the sea,

his home is poetry,

perhaps his memory

is his greatest inheritance,

he dreams like his ancestors,

of other worlds,

but he never stops having

his feet on the ground.
