Migrar, migrar,
puede ser un vuelo
de un invierno
a un verano para
continuar con la especie,
una travesía donde no
todos llegan
a pesar del
legítimo esfuerzo
del viento y las
alas.
Son grandes
distancias,
velocidades muy
sincronizadas.
(No sé qué se
dirán en el aire
y cómo se
alentarán en pleno vuelo).
Buscan un mejor
clima, alimentos,
refugio y
reparación de energías
para reproducirse,
una segunda oportunidad.
Algunas aves
quedarán en el camino,
por selección natural, pero la especie continuará.
La vida es un ejercicio permanente,
no siempre tiene el resultado esperado.

Migrate, migrate
it may be a flight from a winter
to a summer to continue the species,
a journey where not all will arrive
despite the rightful effort
of the wind and the wings.
These are great distances,
with highly synchronized speeds.
(I don’t know what they say to each other in the air
or how they encourage one another mid-flight.)
They seek a better climate, food,
shelter, and the restoration of energy
in order to reproduce—a second chance.
Some birds will fall along the way,
through natural selection, but the species will go on.
Life is a constant endeavor,
it doesn’t always have the expected outcome.
